The jams produced by „Fet a Sóller“ are authentic natural products, made in the valley of Sóller with traditional recepies and the best fruit found in this region. All fruits are ripened by the sun and used just after being harvested. A yummy extra on every breakfast table.

Kaki jam "Fet a Sóller"
225g jar, Feta Sóller
Here in Majorca the Kaki fruits, as well known as Sharon fruits, are allowed to ripen fully on the trees. Its high tannin content makes the unripened fruit sour and bitter. The tannin levels are reduced during the ripening process. When Kaki is fully ripened, its luxurious dark orange color illuminates and the taste is extraordinary sweet. Then the fruits will be harvested and used to make our specialty jams. The very high proportion of betacarotene ( provitamin A ) makes them nutritionally valuable. In comparison to our classical jams, Kaki jam is an absolutely exotically tasting jam, which can be garnished for biscuits, cakes, puddings, salads and also as a topping for breakfast cereals in the morning.

Figs - a deliciously aromatic mediterranean fruit. Here too, we use the untreated fruits just after being harvested to make our delicious jam. Tastes good on a breakfast roll as well as in combination with curd and goat cheese.
