Idea and philosophy

Fet a Sóller – brand for high quality mediterranean food from Sóller, Mallorca and the Balearic Islands.

With years of experience, traditional recipes and care for healthiness of humans and nature together with the natural food resources of the island  are we creating tasty delicacies: fruity vinegar, oliveoil with natural citric, hot or spicy, marmalades and syrups or nutty creams.

Also we are shipping to Europe the traditional mediterranean food.

Fet a Sóller is an initiative dedicated to combining economy with ecology. Centuries-old agriculture with orange, almond and olive groves characterise the valley of Sóller in Mallorca. They determine its wonderful landscape. Our traditional knowledge of cultivation also flows into our modern times.
The combination of traditional features (dry stone walls, water supply since Roman times, terraced hillsides) with modern food processing know-how has made this mountain area a World Heritage Site called  “Tramuntana”.
At Fet a Sóller, we cultivate these traditions and use natural resources as input for improving the quality of life. All our attention is on natural foods, healthy and tasty, carefully processed and naturally conserved. We all benefit from that: you as a customer, visitors to the natu-ral beauty in the valley of Sóller and also the local people.

Many tons of oranges and olives, almonds and other raw materials, the best of the island, are freshly processed in small local factories. For example, "Sa Fàbrica de Gelats" (ice cream production), "Estel Nou" (jam and syrup production) or "La Luna" (sausage specialties) are constantly manufacturing  local quality products. Fet a Sóller has already created around 200 jobs all year around, including for people with disabilities. That's what we call sustainable quality of life improvement.
