The caviar lime or finger lime (also known as vegan caviar) is an extravagant citrus fruit that combines the taste of different types of citrus. The taste varies between the predominant lime, fresh lemon and a hint of grapefruit.
The fruit is easy to split in the middle with a fingernail, then the caviar balls, filled with pulp and juice, can be easily pressed out. The consistency is nice and firm, and the fruit pearls are crunchy when bitten into.
A highlight not only in terms of taste: for the cheese platter, with fish, sushi, chicken, salads, cocktails and refreshing desserts.
