The Ortanique variety is a cross between the sweet orange and the tangerine, with an intense aroma. Bright orange and flattened in shape, it is very similar to the mandarin, but with only a few pips.
It is very juicy, high in sugar and its flesh is delicate in texture. An interesting, tasty citrus fruit.

Since our oranges are not waxed, the peels are also suitable for consumption:
- Grated orange peel refines cakes, pastries and all kinds of desserts.
- The peel, dried in small pieces, gives your tea a pleasantly fragrant and tasty aroma.
- Freshly grated, it gives muesli, yoghurt or quark dishes a special touch.
Oranges have a long shelf life if stored dry and cool, e.g. in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator or in a cool room (approx. 6-7 degrees C.).
Important: take the fruit out of the box after delivery!
