Son Cánaves organic Sobrasada
The delicious organic sobrasada is a hand-made spreadable sausage and has been made according to the traditional recipe of Finca Son Cánaves. In addition to the quality of the pork meat, it also has the Majorcan organic paprika “Pebre dolc Tap de Corti".
The sobrasada is made from the pork of the breed "Faixats" - a mixture of black and white pigs. The pigs live free-range on pastures and are fed with barley and bean flour, which was also planted and ground in Son Cánaves. The entire aging process is a manual job and, therefore, it can be followed in detail piece by piece.
The sausages dry slowly in natural dryers so they are impregnated by Mallorca's humid climate, thus achieving the desired organoleptic conditions.
