This has a very special reason: The historic railway, also called "the Red Lightning", celebrated its 100th birthday. The maiden voyage took place in 1912. The Cooperativa de San Bartolomé founded in 1899 in Sóller, installed their first oil mill in 1926. Since then it has been producing virgin olive oil, and in recent years, thanks to the modernization of the oil mill, they have been given the denomination of origin DO Oli de Mallorca “Olis Sóller”.Consumption before the:
