Sa Tafona Black olives
The black fully ripened olives from the tramuntana valley are a culinary delight for the palate. This mallorquina variety olive is harvested handly by the local olive growers and carefully processed in a traditional way by the Cooperativa Sant Bartomeu. After being pickled in brines, the olives are accompanied by a splash of extra virgin olive oil and journey into a screw-top glass jar. Strong and gentle in flavour, taste wonderful as an aperitif or aside with a ham or cheese sandwich and most certainly should be enjoyed with a glass of red wine "XA" and a few Quely wholemeal biscuits as a light snack.
