Our master butcher calls this liver pâté "Paté campaña con trompetas de la muerte". Loosely translated: Rustic (or homemade) pâté with dead trumpets.
The dead trumpet (also called dead funnel mushroom) is a type of mushroom from the chanterelle family and is considered a very good edible mushroom. It gives this pork liver pâté a very special flavour. Finely seasoned with black pepper, a little garlic, nutmeg and parsley.
