Dos Perellons Palo traditional apéritif
"Palo" is the traditional apéritif of the island of Mallorca. The special, individual taste of this liqueur comes from a mixture of sweet caramel and bitter cinchona bark. The Palo offered here is handmade according to a method dating back to the 19th century. It is made by caramelising sugar and infusing spice plants such as cinchona bark and gentian. Selected molasses alcohol is added to this mixture. This is followed by the ageing process in wooden barrels.
