Its beginnings date back to 1955, when José Posada Torres started exporting Galician chestnuts to Brazil and later José Posada González was the first Spanish businessman to build the first factory and transform chestnuts into the star product, marron glacé.
The chestnuts are harvested in natural forests and once selected, the marron glacé is made in a natural way, without colouring or preservatives.
