The history of Oli Caimari dates back to before 1966, when our father, Antoni Mateu, and his brother registered the brand with which to market the oil produced and packaged from their olive groves in Caimari. A long tradition of producers that has taught us the importance of caring for each of the steps in the production of the product, from the land to the table. A meticulous attention to detail that we also apply to our distribution work, selecting the best products to offer to our customers.
A company with an initial production dating from the 15th century, which currently has several farms in the Sierra de Tramuntana. First of all Son Alzines farm in the town of Escorca, with 14 hectares destined to the cultivation of olive trees, also Son Pelay farm in Lloseta where the oil mill is located, and finally the Can Llobera farm in Ullaró, which gives its name to the oils.
They have centenary olive trees, especially the autochthonous Mallorquina, Arbequina and Picual varieties, which provide exceptional olive oils and have the Denomination of Origin D.O. Oli from Mallorca.
Old terrain located in María de la Salut dating from the 13th century, transformed into an Agrotourism. Of a very important historical value because it was one of the 7 knights with which King Jaime I gave one of the 7 nobles who collaborated in the conquest of the island. There are olive trees on the terrain from the Arbequina variety, which is typical from Mallorca, and they are certified with the Denomination of Origin D.O. Oli from Mallorca.
At the Savantry estate, located in the heart of Mallorca, they are exclusively dedicated to the production of olive oils of the Picual variety with more than 3,500 olive trees. Their oils Oli des Pla and Savantry are of limited production and want to please gourmets and connoisseurs of the olive oil world. Both oils are recognized with the DO Oli de Mallorca designation of origin.
Tafona de Son Cuixa is a family business that is dedicated to the cultivation and production of extra virgin olive oil with the Denomination of Origin D.O. Oli de Mallorca. They have about 5 hectares of olive trees of the Arbequina and Picual varieties located in Petra. The olives are harvested at the optimum point of maturity, thus obtaining a light green oil with a fruit aroma that is not filtered so it preserves all the qualities.
Oil that is harvested at the Finca Es Guinyent in Alcúdia, which has an Islamic origin. The Solivellas family looks after the care of the land and the olive trees since they provide them with the fruit with which they obtain this oil with the highest quality, thanks to the cultivation and harvest of the olives in perfect condition of the varieties Arbequina, Picual, Hojiblanca, Frantoio, Koroneiki and Picuda.
In addition, they have the guarantee of Denomination of Origin Oli de Mallorca (regulatory council founded in 2002 that protects, promotes and names the authentic oil that is made in Mallorca).
Oil mill dating from 2008. Being one of the largest and newly built, they are the most important manufacturers of oil with the Denomination of Origin Oli de Mallorca. Its cultivation of olives comes on one hand from farms throughout the island, from which they make a selection of olives, and on the other hand from its own plantations, of which most are of the Arbequina and Picual varieties. The oil production process that they promote is based on preserving all the organoleptic and nutritional characteristics for a higher quality.
