Kumquats
Kumquats
Small and fine, the exotic dwarf orange is the only citrus fruit that you can eat with the peel. Spherical or oval, this fruit releases its scent while rolling in your hand. The taste has a bitter sweetness, the peel on its own tends to bitterness or to sour. Therefore, the Kumquat is often used to refine sweet or spicy dishes, also because it is very decorative. It is harvested ripe and should still be hard. Natural without wax and without preservatives.
