Cristóbal Rosselló is the head of the family of the well-known Mallorcan company Rosselló. The olive farm Son Mesquidassa, which is so typical for Mallorca, is located in the small sleepy settlement of Son Mesquida between Porreres and Felanitx. Approximately 150,000 olive trees grow on a total of 100 hectares of land.
APAEMA is a non-profit association that was established in June 2006 from the proposal of organic farmers and processors of Mallorca with the main goal of having a platform for the defence and promotion of organic agriculture and agroecology. It also has a product preparation service called S'Obrador.
S’Olivar de Valldemossa oil comes from s’Hort de Son Brondo, domain located in the Serra de Tramuntana, where olive trees of the typical Mallorcan variety Empeltre grow, thanks to which they have been able to create this very special oil recognized with the DO Oli de Mallorca designation of origin.
This company was founded around 1986 in Llubí and in addition to growing and producing its own products, it also promotes the sale of agricultural products. These products can be found in grocery stores as well as in gourmet shops and restaurants due to their high quality.

A family business that was born from Joan's desire to do organic farming, in 1989 at the Finca Sa Teulera in Petra. At the age of 22, the energetic Mallorcan Lluis Cirera began working on the family's magnificent and idyllically situated finca and has now been managing the 300-hectare family farm Son Cànaves, a 13th-century estate near Llucmajor on Mallorca, for ten years. From the beginning, Lluis Cirera's goal was to make the best use of the individual resources of the well-run business. His beige curly Mallorca sheep graze freely in the nutritious fields all year round. They eat the rich grain sown in the pasture. Their milk is used to make exquisite cheese and yoghurt. In addition to the sheep, there are also about 80 pigs on the Mallorca estate, which are also allowed to stay outside for most of the year. Free-roaming animals are demonstrably much stronger, healthier and happier. Should it be too hot for them in the summer, there are beautifully designed large stables with numerous windows so that the air can circulate perfectly. The high-quality tasty sobrasada is made from the Mallorcan pigs. The excellent living conditions of the Mallorca pigs and the quality of all ingredients ensure an excellent organic quality of the end product. Old-established traditional Mallorcan recipes, passed down and improved from generation to generation, combined with modern food techniques mean that Son Cànaves' Mallorca products stand out clearly from others and have a high recognition value in taste. The Son Mesquidassa farm became the property of the Roselló family in 1986, on that same year they planted more than 150,000 olive trees and built the oil mill. The farm is located in Felanitx and is part of the Denomination of Origin D.O. Oli de Mallorca. The philosophy of the company and the cultivation system seek maximum work efficiency, to obtain a higher quality and quantity, reaching 200,000 liters of oil thanks to more than one million kilos of olives. Their target is to optimize resources to achieve a high level of sustainability.
