The Bordoy story began in 1993 with the purchase of large land in the south of Mallorca. The so called parcels "Els Camps de Sa Vinya" and "s´Aujub Vermell" are located between Llucmajor and the south coast of the island. They go around the former finca "Sa Torre" and were used for wine cultivation several centuries ago. The soil structure consists mainly of a type of sandstone with a lot of fossil and calcareous content. The grapes ripen from mid-May. The initially green fruits turn yellow respectively black.
Finally, the Chardonnay harvest takes place in August, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon and Callet. In this area the harvest is ending in October with the raisin grapes for the sweet spanish red wines.
