Mallorca Verda was born in 1998 from a social project with the aim of promoting the integration into the labour market of people older than 45 or young people with difficulties.
The Mallorcan initiative is based in Montuïri and specialises in the production of Mediterranean Mallorcan food. Particularly classic products were brought to the market that the Mallorcans knew and consumed, but which had not been marketed before.
The basis of all Mallorca Verda products is the island's native raw materials, such as olive oil, salt and almonds, which are processed into AlliOli, and tapenades.
