The beautiful, evergreen avocado tree grows under perfect conditions in the valley of Sóller. It can also be found with increasing frequency in other parts of Majorca, as long as it is sheltered from wind. If not pruned regularly, it reaches dizzying heights.
The avocado is cultivated without preservatives or pesticides. This fruit is very nutritious, its high content of vitamin B and E acts against free radicals. Our avocados have a thin skin and a smooth, slightly nutty, full-bodied flavour that can be enhanced with a couple of drops of lemon juice and some Flor de Sal. A delicious & healthy food.
The avocado ripens after having been harvested, you can speed up this process by storing the fruit with apples or wrapping it in newspaper. Keep refrigerated for longer preservation (note: they are sensitive to pressure). If you store them in the box, keep the lid open.
